Sam is effervescent and fun! She is a passionate physiotherapist and truly believes exercise is the best medicine. Before PT she completed degrees in psychology and education, so she understands a holistic, well-rounded approach to therapy. She is also a lifelong learner and has completed her orthopaedic level 1 diploma. Sam is especially interested in hands-on, exercise based, and evidence based therapy. Steve graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UBC in 2009 and in 2013 completed his Certificate of Sports Physiotherapy from Sport Physiotherapy Canada.
In 2006, he completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics from UBC, with a specialization in Exercise Science. While at UBC he worked with many varsity athletes while volunteering as a trainer for UBC Athletics. From 2010 to 2014, Steve worked as the team physiotherapist for the Okanagan Rockets of the BC Major Midget Hockey league, as well as, the Pursuit of Excellence hockey academy. He is currently the team physiotherapist for the Okanagan College Coyotes basketball team.
Steve has completed many post-graduate courses since graduating including Fit Fore Golf, which focuses on golf related injury rehabilitation, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He is also certified in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and IMS needling through UBC GunnIMS.
His interests lie primarily in sports orthopaedics and he believes in using a balanced approach to rehabilitation, incorporating multiple techniques to achieve full recovery. Steve grew up in Kelowna and, when he gets any free time, he tries to enjoy it by playing hockey and mountain biking.

Riley began her studies at The University of Victoria where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After finishing her Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC, she stayed to work in Vancouver and spent two seasons as head trainer for the New Westminster Salmonbellies Junior A lacrosse team.
Having happily settled in Kelowna, Riley enjoys working with athletes of all levels and ages. Riley applies a combination of specific and functional exercise, manual therapy, education, dry needling and other modalities to help her clients return to the sports and activities that matter most to them. She enjoys connecting with her patients and believes in the power of working together as a team.
